| Pit Bull Task Force What is the task force? Tampa Bay Bullies is a small Florida Not for Profit organization. Our mission is simple.
“To promote responsible ownership of bully breeds within the community by offering low cost/free shots, health exams, spay/neutering, feeding program, free training and education, and a push to stop tethering and dog fighting.”
We are starting a task force to do just this. We will be going into low income communities to provide resources for dog owners to become responsible owners. The result of responsible dog ownership is fewer dog accidents such as attacks and deaths.
How can you help?
Shelter Project While visiting local low income communities Tampa Bay Bullies will distribute various shelters for outdoor dogs. With the Florida heat and unpredictable weather a simple dog shelter lean can save the dogs life. We need: - Local youth organizations interested in helping build these structures. All materials will be provided and a TBB volunteer will teach the youth how to use blue prints and basic carpentery skills. - Building materials such as wood, nails, screws, and carpenter supplies.
Fun Show & Weight Pull During our visit to the communities Tampa Bay Bullies will host a small bully fun show and weight pull to introduce positive activites that can be done with your dog. We need: - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place ribbons - volunteers to assist during the activities - 50 lbs bags of concrete for the weight pull - weight pull harnesses
Give Aways Tampa Bay Bullies will be distributing supplies to dogs in need. We need: - Collars, Leashes, Harnesses - Grooming supplies (shampoo, brush, flea prevention, nail clippers) - Dog food and treats - Bedding for the cold months - Feeding bowls - Large water bowls - Toys
